1. Introduction
1.1. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the products and services provided by Smart Mechanical Equipment Trading LLC (SMET) through our website and other platforms. By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
2. Ordering
2.1. When placing an order on our website, you are required to provide accurate and complete details, including your name, company name, shipping address, and other necessary information.
2.2. Orders are confirmed only upon receipt of payment.
2.3. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any order, including but not limited to instances of product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity.
3. Prices and Payment
3.1. All prices are listed in UAE Dirham. The total amount payable for an order includes the product price, applicable taxes, and shipping fees.
3.2. Payments must be made in full at the time of purchase using the available payment methods [Credit/Debit Cards, Bank Transfers] on our website.
4. Returns, Refunds, Exchange and Cancellation Policy
4.1 Returns: Returns and/or replacement are only accepted if the product is damaged, defective, or incorrect. Products must be returned within 3 days of delivery in unused and original packaging. Please provide photographic evidence for damaged, defective, or incorrect items when requesting a return.
For international orders, customers are responsible for return shipping costs and any customs duties or taxes incurred.
4.2 Refunds: Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days after receiving the returned product(s) in good condition. Refunds may be partial if the returned product is not in its original condition or has been used.
4.3. Exchanges: Exchanges are available for defective, damaged, or incorrect items only. Customers can request an exchange as part of the return process. Customer must return the product at their own cost. Exchange or replacement once approved will be shipped to the customer at our cost.
4.4 Cancellation: Our Cancellation policy allows customer to cancel an order within 24 hours of placing it, provided that the order has not yet been processed or shipped.
For orders containing multiple items, partial cancellations are allowed, subject to the order processing status of the items.

5. Shipping / Delivery Policy
5.1 Shipping Charges: Shipping charges may vary based on the delivery location including domestic and international destinations. The applicable shipping charges will be displayed during checkout, before you complete your purchase.
Import Fees & Customs Duties: For international shipments, please note that import fees, customs duties, and taxes may apply depending on the destination country. These fees are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the shipping charges.
5.2 Delivery Timelines:
- Standard Delivery: Orders are typically delivered within 1-5 business days depending on the shipping address and delivery method. Please note that delivery times may vary during peak seasons, holidays, or due to external factors like weather or logistics delays.
- Processing Time: Orders are processed within 1-5 business days from the time the order is placed.
- Shipping Times for International Orders: For international deliveries, please allow 5 business days for shipping, depending on your location.
5.3 Shipping Methods:
- We partner with trusted shipping carriers to deliver your orders.
5.4 Order Tracking:
- Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number. You can track your order using the carrier’s website or through your account on our site.
5.5 Shipping Restrictions:
- We currently ship to all over UAE & GCC Countries. If you do not see your location listed, please contact our team to inquire about shipping options.
5.6 Delivery Issues:
Incorrect Address: If an order is delayed or returned due to an incorrect shipping address, the customer will be responsible for the additional shipping charges for reshipment.
Lost Packages: We are not responsible for lost or stolen items once the package has been confirmed as delivered.
Failed Delivery Attempts: If the delivery cannot be completed due to the absence of the recipient or an incorrect address, the carrier may attempt delivery again or return the package to the sender. Additional charges may apply for redelivery or undelivered orders.
Weekend and Holiday Deliveries: Deliveries are typically made during business days excluding weekends & public holidays.

6. Governing Law
6.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising under or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Abu Dhabi courts.
7. Limitation of Liability
7.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to your use of our products and services.
7.2. Our total liability for any claims related to these Terms and Conditions shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant order.
8. Changes to Terms and Conditions
8.1. We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our products and services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
